Description
An instrumental music booster meeting will be held in the instrumental rehearsal room (Rm 147 - right off the north parking lot) beginning at 7:00 PM. Meeting typically last one hour unless there is a great deal of business to attend to. All parents/guardians of band and orchestra students are automatically members of the booster group. It is strongly encouraged that you attend and discover ways that you can support your child and his/her interest in music. We need the help of our entire instrmental music family if we are to accomplish all that needs to be done to ensure that we continue to offer an excellent program, full of opportunities, for our students.
A Reminder To Executive Board Members/Committee Chairs Needing To Present Reports:
An executive session will be held prior to the general meeting beginning at 6:00 PM.
"The mission of the Harrison Instrumental Boosters is to support and promote the Harrison High School Instrumental music program."
Members support the philosophy that music performance enhances educational growth and inspires the students of Harrison High as well as the community at large. Some activities of Harrison Instrumental Boosters may include: Fundraising, chaperoning, facilitating communication and duties related to band and orchestra performances. No experience is necessary, we welcome all parents and/or guardians of currently enrolled instrumental (includes marching band color guard). Come join this fantastic group of parents and share your student's high school Band, Color Guard, and Orchestra experience.
