Explaining Auto-Tune

Recently we took a moment of class time in several classes to discuss the rise of the use of Auto-Tune,a program originally designed to correct pitch discrepancies in the recording studio but more recently used to create vocal effects for artists such a T-Pain (although Cher originally used the effect).
