Congratulations are extended to the Warrior Command on receiving a Gold rating at ISSMA District Marching Band Contest this past Saturday. The band will now advance to ISSMA Regional Contest to be held in two weeks at Evansville Central High School. The band will need to continue to advance their score by refining and perfecting their show over the course of the next two weeks in order to qualify for a Gold rating at Regionals.
Thank you students for your hard work and perseverance. You have come a tremendous distance, and now we get to see if we can go to the next level. Know that I am exceptionally proud of your work. Also, a very special thank you is extended to all of the parents, relatives, siblings, friends, and anyone else who has helped make our season such a success. From teepee work to hospitality, pit crew to uniforms and everything in between we say thank you. Our students could not be successful without your efforts, and you are appreciated very much.
Finally, many thanks to my tremendous staff who have dedicated many hours to the success of our group and go way above and beyond to help our students succeed.
There is still much to be accomplished in the next two weeks, but I am confident we will continue to push this terrific show to even higher levels. Bravo, and let's go!
